Tour Highlights

  • The Grand Canyon of the Colorado River is one of the world’s outstanding spectacles. In form, size and flowing colors, it is unsurpassed.
  • Bryce Canyon National Park includes some of Earth’s most colorful rocks, which have been sculpted by erosion into pillars called “hoodoos.”
  • Zion National Park is one of the West’s greatest treasures. You’ll find desert terrain and huge, sculpted rock formations coexisting with waterfalls and hanging gardens.
  • Glen Canyon Dam has formed Lake Powell, the second largest man-made lake in the country.
  • During our full day in Las Vegas we’ll visit a number of the spectacular, somewhat miraculous, hotel/casinos.
  • Oak Creek Canyon Road is known for its yellow and red cliffs dotted with pine, cypress and juniper.
  • Sedona is surrounded by beautiful red-rock mountains. It is a center for contemporary and traditional arts.
  • 3300 miles of comfortable, scenic travel on Amtrak’s Southwest Chief.

Tour Pricing


  • $2195 Price per person (based on double-occupancy)
  • Coach Class Tour - Roomettes + $595; Bedrooms + $1195
  • $495 additional for hotel rooms on a single basis.
  • $1695 additional for hotel rooms and Amtrak Roomette on a single basis.
  • *COACH CLASS TOUR - On this tour reclining coach seats with leg rests are included. You will spend the first night on the train, then several nights in first-class hotels. On the return, you’ll spend another night on the train with reclining coach seats with leg rest. A Coach Comfort Kit is included. Meals are included when we travel overnight on the train. A limited number of sleeping accommodations are available at a very modest additional cost; only $595 for Roomette and $1195 for Bedrooms (per person, double occupancy). Enjoy daytime privacy and two nights of normal sleeping conditions.
