Spend a day viewing the spectacular scenery of the Colorado Rockies between Denver and Grand Junction. Our train eases between towering mountains for hours.
In Salt Lake City we’ll discover major attractions such as the Mormon Temple, the Great Salt Lake, recent Winter Olympic sites and several gardens.
We learn about the historic Oregon/California pioneer trail at the Trail Center in Montpelier, Idaho.
No mountain range is more impressive than the Grand Teton Range. Peaks rise abruptly with no foothills.
Yellowstone National Park is a two-million acre natural “jewel.” We’ll view the upper and lower falls and many geysers, including Old Faithful.
Experience magnificent views of Glacier National Park’s mountains, lakes and wildlife as you travel along the 50-mile long Going-to-the-Sun Highway.
Travel first-class for 3200 miles on the California Zephyr, Chicago to Salt Lake City, and the Empire Builder, Whitefish, Montana, to Chicago.

*COACH CLASS TOUR - On this tour reclining coach seats with leg rests are included. You will spend the first night on the train, then several nights in first-class hotels. On the return, you’ll spend another night on the train with reclining coach seats with leg rest.
A Coach Comfort Kit is included. Meals are included when we travel overnight on the train. A limited number of sleeping accommodations are available at a very modest additional cost.
